When your soul is tired and troubled
and your way seems dark and drear,
reach your hand out to the Master,
for with Him there's naught to fear.

Through the gathering storm He'll guide you,
put your trust in Him alone.
Let Him lead you through the darkness,
for He'll surely lead you home.

He will teach you humble mercies,
and He'll make your pathway bright.
He will give you understanding,
always lead you to the right.

Keep your eyes upon the Master,
don't let Satan mire your way,
for he is the great deceiver
and he'll quickly lead astray.

If you'll give your heart to Jesus,
He will fill you with his love.
Let Him mold you in His likeness,
make you fit for heaven above.

Let the love of God enfold you,
share it with all men you meet,
till your work on earth is ended,
and you kneel at Jesus' feet.
